Turning the page

It's time.
As promised, we are changing the way coverage will be carried out for the This Really Old House Goes Green project.
It's a subtle change, really, as we have decided to shift gears and only follow any TROHGG developments on the parent website, TheGreenHub.ca – and put the weekly installments featured in Your Brant Connection on hold until construction begins at the house at 87 Alexander Drive.
When a lead contractor comes on board, plus a building supplies partner, and reno work actually starts, then The Expositor will resume publishing our two-page weekly reports.
We have updated our existing TROHGG team members – see their profiles at TheGreenHub.ca where there have been over 100,000 unique visitors. – and now look forward to seeing the revamped TROHGG placement blend in with our other ongoing initiatives at TheGreenHub.ca
These include the journalistic efforts of The Green Hubsters, the youth team of TheGreenHub.ca, whose community coverage is being featured, plus regular updates of all the news and trends in Brantford, Six Nations, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk counties.
Along those same lines, a new weekly column by Greg McMillan of TheGreenHub.ca will be published each Saturday in the front section of The Expositor, beginning December 3. Its focus will be on green lifestyle, business and human interest items about people in our community who are embracing sustainable endeavours. There is lots going on in The Green Hub and we intend to keep readers in the loop. Feel free to contact greg@thegreenhub.ca with any suggestions for column topics.
